Job Responsibilities:

  1. Maintaining law and order within the assigned jurisdiction.
  2. Patrolling designated areas to ensure public safety and prevent crime.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  1. Education: Candidates must have completed the 12th standard or its equivalent from a recognized board.
  2. Age Limit: The age of the candidate should be between 18 and 25 years as of August 1, 2022. Age relaxation will be applicable as per government rules.
  3. Physical Standards:
    • Male Candidates: Height – General/BC: 165 cm, EBC/SC/ST: 160 cm; Chest – General/BC/EBC: 81-86 cm, SC/ST: 79-84 cm; Running – 1.6 km in 6 minutes; Gola Fek (Shot Put) – 16-pound gola (16 feet); Long Jump – 4 feet.
    • Female Candidates: Height – All Categories: 155 cm; Running – 1 km in 5 minutes; Gola Fek (Shot Put) – 12-pound gola (12 feet); Long Jump – 3 feet.
  4. Good physical fitness and stamina.
  5. Excellent knowledge of English, Hindi, Maths, Social Science, Science, and General Knowledge.
  6. No criminal record or pending criminal cases against the candidate.
  7. Must possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
  8. Ability to handle stressful situations and work under pressure.

Salary and Benefits:

Selected candidates will receive a salary in the pay scale of Rs. 21,700-69,100/- (Level-3) along with other allowances and benefits as per the rules of the Bihar Police Department.
