Chhattisgarh Roadways is currently seeking qualified candidates for the positions of Conductor and Driver for its 2023 recruitment drive. As a Conductor, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of passengers while collecting fares and managing the bus schedule. As a Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating the bus while following traffic laws and ensuring the comfort of passengers.

Responsibilities:

Conductor:

• Collect fares from passengers
• Manage the bus schedule and ensure timely departure and arrival
• Ensure passenger safety and comfort
• Assist passengers with questions and concerns
• Maintain cleanliness of the bus

Driver:

• Safely operate the bus and follow traffic laws
• Ensure the comfort of passengers
• Inspect the bus before and after each trip for any damages or malfunctions
• Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and passenger counts
• Adhere to safety regulations and company policies

Qualifications:

Conductor:

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Good communication skills in Hindi and English
• Ability to handle cash and perform basic arithmetic calculations
• Customer service skills
• Ability to work in a team environment

Driver:

• Must have a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL)
• At least 2 years of driving experience
• Good driving record
• Knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
• Customer service skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
