The Punjab Subordinate Service Selection Board (PSSSB) is inviting applications for the recruitment of 70 Clerk positions. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who possess a degree qualification and are looking to start their career in the public sector.

Responsibilities:

  1. Perform clerical tasks such as data entry, record keeping, and file management.
  2. Maintain and update various databases and spreadsheets.
  3. Prepare and process documents, forms, and reports.
  4. Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and phone calls.
  5. Assist in organizing and maintaining office supplies and equipment.
  6. Provide administrative support to senior staff members as required.
  7. Ensure confidentiality and security of all documents and information.
  8. Follow established procedures and guidelines for efficient workflow.
  9. Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental objectives.
  10. Handle any other duties assigned by the supervising authority.

Qualifications:

  1. Possession of a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
  2. Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and data entry.
  3. Excellent typing speed and accuracy.
  4. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  5. Good organizational and multitasking abilities.
  6. Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work.
  7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  8. Knowledge of Punjabi language is desirable.
  9. Must be a citizen of India and a resident of Punjab.
  10. Age limit: Candidates must be between 18 and 37 years old (age relaxation applicable for reserved categories as per government norms).
