The Directorate of Health Services (DHS) in Vellore, Tamil Nadu, is inviting applications for the positions of Data Entry Operator (DEO) and Multipurpose Health Worker. The positions are on a contractual basis for a period of one year.

Data Entry Operator:

Responsibilities:

• Entering data accurately into the computer system
• Maintaining accurate records and files
• Performing quality checks on data input to ensure accuracy
• Generating reports from the data entered
• Performing any other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications:

• Candidates must have completed their 10+2 education from a recognized board
• Candidates must have a typing speed of at least 30 words per minute in English and Tamil
• Candidates must have a good knowledge of computer applications such as MS Office, Excel, etc.

Multipurpose Health Worker:

Responsibilities:

• Providing basic healthcare services to patients
• Conducting health check-ups and screening tests
• Administering basic medication as prescribed by doctors
• Maintaining patient records and files
• Conducting health education sessions for the community
• Performing any other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications:

• Candidates must have completed their 10+2 education from a recognized board
• Candidates must have a certificate in Multipurpose Health Worker course from a recognized institution
• Candidates must have a good knowledge of Tamil language

Salary:

• Data Entry Operator: Rs. 12,000 per month
• Multipurpose Health Worker: Rs. 10,000 per month
