Job Summary:
Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) is inviting applications for the position of Regional Director. The selected candidates will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the operations of various study centers and regional offices of IGNOU in their respective regions.

| Oversee the functioning of study centers and regional offices in the assigned region | Master’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university |
| Ensure effective implementation of IGNOU programs and policies | Minimum of 10 years of experience in teaching or administration in a university or educational institution |
| Monitor student enrollment and progress in IGNOU programs | Experience in managing and supervising staff |
| Coordinate with other regional directors and university officials to ensure smooth functioning of the university | Knowledge of distance education and open learning systems |
| Develop and maintain relationships with local government bodies and other stakeholders | Excellent communication and interpersonal skills |
| Manage the budget and resources allocated to the regional office | Ability to work independently and as part of a team |
| Provide guidance and support to the staff working under them | Proficiency in English and one or more regional languages of India |
