- Plan, design, and maintain gardens, parks, and other outdoor spaces.
- Coordinate and supervise the planting, pruning, and landscaping activities.
- Ensure the proper care and maintenance of plants, shrubs, and trees.
- Monitor the health of plants, identify pests or diseases, and take appropriate measures for their control.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols for garden maintenance operations.
- Manage and train a team of gardeners to ensure high-quality work.
- Maintain inventory of gardening tools, equipment, and supplies.
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders for the planning and execution of special events or projects.
- Prepare and manage budgets for garden maintenance activities.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in horticulture.
- Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture, Botany, or a related field.
- Proven experience in garden management, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of plants, flowers, trees, and landscaping techniques.
- Familiarity with pest and disease control methods.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in computer applications related to garden management is desirable.
- Physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Knowledge of local flora and the ability to adapt to regional gardening practices will be an advantage.
