National Chemical Laboratory (NCL) is inviting applications for the position of Project Associate. The Project Associate will be working on a research project titled “Design and Development of Novel Catalysts for Renewable Energy Applications”. The project is funded by the Department of Science and Technology (DST).

Responsibilities:

Conducting research activities related to the project
Synthesizing and characterizing novel catalysts
Conducting catalytic reactions and analyzing the products
Writing reports and research articles
Presenting research findings at conferences and workshops

Requirements:

MSc/M.Tech in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST candidates)
Candidates who have qualified NET/GATE will be preferred
Good knowledge of synthetic organic chemistry and catalysis
Experience in handling various analytical instruments like NMR, IR, GC, and HPLC
Excellent communication and writing skills
Salary: Rs. 31,000/- per month + HRA as per DST norms

Duration:

The position is temporary and is initially for a period of six months, which may be extended based on the performance of the candidate and the availability of funds.

Age Limit :

Candidates should be below 18 to 45  years of age
