We are seeking highly motivated individuals to fill the positions of Clerk and Ticket Collector for the Railway Jobs in Bhubaneswar in 2023. The successful candidates will be responsible for performing a variety of duties related to ticket sales, customer service, and administrative tasks.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Selling railway tickets to passengers and ensuring accuracy of fare calculation and reservation status.
2. Handling cash, maintaining records of sales transactions, and issuing receipts and change to passengers.
3. Assisting passengers with information related to train schedules, route information, and ticket prices.
4. Providing exceptional customer service to passengers by addressing their queries and concerns promptly.
5. Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of the ticketing area and ensuring safety and security of passengers.
6. Assisting the Station Master in administrative tasks such as maintaining records, preparing reports, and performing other clerical duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum 10+2 or equivalent qualification from a recognized board or university.

Skill:

1. Strong numerical skills and ability to work with cash.
2. Good communication skills and proficiency in English, Hindi, and the local language.
3. Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
4. Basic knowledge of computer applications such as MS Office, email, and internet.
5. Must be physically fit to handle the demands of the job.
6. Prior experience in ticketing or customer service would be an added advantage.
